Ekaterina Karpova

Klavierbegleitung - accompagnement musical

The Russian pianist Ekaterina Karpova is currently studying for a Master's degree in "Specialised Music Performance" as a soloist in Bern. Class of Prof. Tomasz Herbut.
During her studies in Switzerland, she was involved in the HKB music festival "Playtime", as well as orchestral projects such as:

  • 2023, Switzerland, Thun concert with the Bern Concert Orchestra. L. Beethoven's Piano Concerto with Orchestra No.3.
  • 2023, Switzerland, Biel- "Dream Garden" W. Mozart . Concerto for 3 pianos in F major/ K.242
The most important result was the 3rd prize and a performance at the Boris Pergamenschikow Competition for Contemporary Chamber Music in Berlin with the Glenn Gould Piano Trio. The Glenn Gould Trio then played a concert at the "Piano trio Fest" in Bern. Ekaterina continues to perform as a member of the chamber ensemble and continues to develop her contemporary direction.

She has been a prizewinner at international competitions since 2011. She actively participates in concerts and performs as a soloist, in ensembles and as a piano accompanist.
In 2016, she graduated with honours from Gnessin College in Moscow. Class of the Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation I.E. Temchenko. In 2021 she graduated with honours from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow. Class of Prof. S.D. Terekhov.
From 2016-2018 she was piano accompanist at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.
rsaal of the Moscow Philharmonic and in the Beethoven Hall of the Grand Theatre.
From 2018 to 2021 she worked as a piano accompanist for wind and percussion instruments as well as for the musical-pedagogical subject "Rhythmics" at the Central Music School of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
In January 2020 a CD with Ivan Olenchik virtuoso works for clarinet was released. Performers: E. Petrov (clarinet), E. Karpova (piano).

From 2017 to 2021 she was a member of the Committee of the Student Union of the Moscow Conservatory. She participated in the organisation of student events. As a member of the student committee, she was involved in the organisation of the international scientific conference "Russian Music Historiography", the Spring Balls VI, VII and VIII of the Moscow Conservatory and the Online Museum Forum of the Moscow Conservatory.

In 2019 she was a member of the student working group and volunteer at the youth forum "Partitura of the Future" of the Moscow Conservatory.

She has participated in concert programmes of the V. Spivakov International Charitable Foundation and in programmes of the Moscow Conservatory, in the Great Hall and Small Hall of the Gnessin College Hall, in the Chamber Hall of the Moscow Philharmonic and in the Beethoven Hall of the Grand Theatre.
